Well, it is not exactly a holiday or an excursion trip.. I was there for something else, rounding off
with a 2 days trip to towns and cities in Northern India.. I armed myself with my latest photography toy, Panasonic LZ8 to compensate my fear of bringing DSLR to this incredible place.. The level of dust and undulating terrain that I (my camera) might be exposed to is just a risk too high..I guess like what a lot of photographer may argue.. It is in the photographer that brings the story to life than just taking good quality pictures with nothing to tell.. I hope my PnS can tell you plenty of it..
Poverty
This place houses one of the poorest global citizens... I felt more than fortunate to be living in Singapore.. Kid beggars, begging for money and food from us.. Seemingly deprived of proper sanitation and food for many days..
Taj Mahal
Touching one of the finest art and wonder of the world.. Taj Mahal.
. This the highlight of my trip to this incredible place..
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal (also "the Taj") is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Ottoman, Indian, and Islamic architectural
styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."
