My lovely wife brought the idea of visiting my parents at le
ast once a week with my little princess Estella on Sat... My parents must have been missing her a lot.. My mum glowed with a huge smile on her face the moment she saw us (My Estella more
, I suppose..) at her shop.. (She's retailing stationery business). She even brought the princess to show her neighbours..Drop by Chinatown on Saturday night to catch a glimpse of Chinese New Year decorations and Pasar Malam.. It does not seems to be in recession for Singapore, the crowd is still as packed as ever.. My wife decides to cut the night visit real short, too many people bumping into Estella.. Photography has to wait..
So no photography, but there is photoshop... Happen to chance upon a website for photographer, digital-photography-school.. It is indeed a repository for photography stuff... Blogs, by I guess by professional photograph
er, from the basics of explaining what aperture means to post photography techniques using photoshop and iphoto.. Well, i always wonder how did all those photos uploaded by others in CS was so dreamy and amazing at times... Some of the effects can be achieved by magic of photoshop.. I tried a few techniques explained by the website.. For a portrait of my lovely wife and Princess Estella, that the photo effects was burst by the harsh flash and yellow lighting of the room.. after adding cool filter, Gaussian Blur, Emboss, etc, a yellowish background and faces with bright reflection of flash, turned into a white and dreamy photo for all to view.. There is really a lot to learn and experiment... It is not just D80 and lens..
