Botanical Garden

Went to botanical garden today to try out taking photos of plants and flowers.. Armed with only my camera with no tripod.. Taking still pictures will always be a challenge.. In this trip, I realised that although my kata bag is designed to convenient the photographer to keep and take the camera during shoot and movement, but it lack a good holder for tripod.. It just seems too troublesome for me to bring 2 bags along especially when i am taking public transport..

I am pleasantly surprised to see a lot of people picnicing at the lawn area near the pond.. Tried to sneak a few shot of them, but my lens cant zoom for an ideal shot.. Nonetheless, I went around trying to take close shot of plants, macro and waterfall.. Toying with shutter priority with white balance to capture the waterfall.. Not bad for a first timer.. Then i bumped into 2 teens who had dressed up like some japanese character, i supposed, for their friends to take some shoot.. I guess.. I went up to sneak a few shots before they leave the fountain..

After this trip, guess that my blog will take a holiday before i start another.. Work starts on mon after a very very long break..
